Bardy wind farm on the polish coast
Poland’s longest 110 kV cable line
The Bardy wind farm is located on the Polish coast near Koszalin. It consists of 25 V90 turbines with a hub height of 105 meters and a total nominal capacity of 50 MW.
The PNE Group assumed full responsibility for construction management. The voltage is converted from 20 kV to 110 kV in a transformer substation on the wind farm site.
The generated energy must then be transported over a distance of approximately 30 kilometers to the connection point: the 400/110 kV Dunowo transformer station, of which the 400 kV part is operated by PSE, and the 110 kV part by the Polish energy supplier Energa.
Therefore, the PNE Group laid an underground high-voltage cable for the first time, which was then the longest 110 kV cable line in Poland.
The project was sold to the investor Equiventus Capital S.a.r.l. The company is a subsidiary of Equiventus Holding S.A., a global wind2 energy investment fund based in Luxembourg.
